Country Fried Steak w/ Black pepper milk gravy

Another down home favorite! This is great with black pepper gravy and mashed potatoes! Yum Yum! Throw in some buttermilk biscuits and you are in love!

4 cubed steaks
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. flour
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 c. oil
1 c. milk

Season beef with salt. Mix flour with pepper in a large dish. Dredge each steak in flour; dip in beaten eggs, then dredge in flour again. Heat oil in a large skillet. Fry steaks on each side until golden. Drain on paper towels. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons oil. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of flour mixture into oil. Cook over medium heat 1 minute, scraping brown bits from bottom. Stir in milk slowly until smooth. Cook until thickened. Pour over steaks when serving
